Review

I must confess that I didn´t want to read this book, but Dani recommended it to me, so that I couldn't refuse, she knows that kind of books i like me.   And well, I LOVE IT.  Well as Saby always recommend me a lot of books i know as what kind of genres her like and when i finished the book i thought in her.

Auden is the girl that has grown among the fights of her parents, nights without sleep while she lead for get a coffee and remembering that she must take seriously her studies; since choose a good university, to advance the readings that she wil she in the semester, leaving experiences as a slumber party , bik riding , going to a party.

She doesn´t even know as has survived without taste nothing like that, but, never it´s too late, or at least that began to think until she happens her holidays in Colby.

But not everything is as seems, she has a lot of reasons to be like is and more with a mother like her; serious, strict and pride. ( Have you ever seen the Leonard's mother from The Big Bang Theory? Well, okay, she looks like her. I just imagine. It's so similar in the way she act and think, althought the Auden's mother doesn't have exactly the physical description. If you don't meet the actress who i'm talking about, you can see in the picture). She is the same who said that the persons never change, they just refine what they are.

For other side we have her father, whom is a writter and together with Auden´s mother has decided it would be best divorce, for then leave the house and start again.

Now she lives in Colby together with Heidi, her dad's new wife, and Isby, who is a newborn.

Well, Saby has already said a bit of that is about the story. I really have a frustration with many characters and it´s just that i´m very angry with them. First of all with the parents. I hate too much the father and the thing is that he has 3 sons and still doesn´t have the responsibility to do in charge of them and help his wife. When Auden arrives with Heidi I thought that she was going to make the life impossible but i ended love her.  I don´t like Auden´s mother because she wants plans the life of Auden and i don´t like that kind of people.

I do not like the brother because he has a little of blames for be irresponsible. Auden had to do a lot of things so that her parents put attention but It wasn´t enough

I liked the relation between Auden and Eli but i feel that some way don't come as a romantic relationship but rather a friendship.

About Writing the Author

I had read three books by Sarah Dessen without dicide if they were good or bad. But when i had the oportunity to try with this the only what i knew was she had been to position inside my list of favorites writters. 

She possesses this peculiar way to writte. All her stories are focus to tell something that it could be happen to someone in the real life. And it's for this that all the characters have a special essence, because you can feel identified with one of they.

I describe the Sahara Dessen's books like wonderfully ordinary. They have the perfect balance between friendship, dating/courtship and family.

We have to clarify that for some people there are aspects that can be irrationals or unlikely, like the part of her childhood, for example.

A long time ago that we don´t brought a joint review

If i don´t remember bad, the last  was on a book of the trilogy "The Selection". I hope you enjoyed. I highly recommend the book.
